My name is Patrick Crockett, and I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2023. I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science in the Fitness Professional Concentration.

I am a current Master’s of Public Health (MPH) student in the Nutrition and Dietetics Concentration at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. This degree will put me on track to become a Registered Dietitian (RD), and begin offering evidence-based, medical nutrition therapy in Fall 2025.

I threw javelin for the DI ACC Track and Field Team at UNC. I have been working with personal training clients since January 2021, ranging from youth athletes to middle-age adults. In January 2023, I founded Do Today Fitness to share with clients the knowledge I have gained on optimal exercise programming through my academic and athletic experiences. In August 2023, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to further enhance my practice as a fitness professional.

The Mission

A client should train with me because my programming is completely evidence-based, grounded in the latest research in Exercise and Sport Science conducted by many of the world-class faculty who I had the pleasure of being taught by here at UNC-Chapel Hill. There is an increasing amount of jargon and false information on fitness being propagated online through social media, and much of it is not backed by thorough research from accredited bodies in the health and wellness industry.
